Wethersfield Computer Learning Center - The former SeniorNet Computer training program has a new name with the same great instructors, coaches and a range of new and updated computer classes from the basics to specialized courses.
Beginning in March 2010, computer training classes under the sponsorship of the Town of Wethersfield’s Senior Center is no longer affiliated with SeniorNet. The most significant change for the consumer is that there is no longer an annual $40 membership to SeniorNet. Since the computer program is part of the Senior Center, individuals 55 and over will need to join the Senior Center for a nominal fee of $10 for 3 years for residents and $15 for 3 years for non residents. Course fees vary depending on course length and materials required.

Registration for classes is on the second Monday of the month from 1-3 pm at the Senior Center, located at 30 Greenfield Street in Wethersfield. You can learn about scheduled computer classes, costs and, if interested, register for a course. Courses currently scheduled are: Computer Basics I, Computer Basics II, and Envelopes & Labels. In addition the following workshops are scheduled: Keyboard Shortcuts; Exploring Tutorials and the Power of Google. The workshops are $5 each with no membership fees required.
